By accessing the SNURL.eu, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms of Service / Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this web site. The materials (information, software, html-code, pictures, logos and/or design elements), hereinafter to be refered to as 'Materials', contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

By interacting with the SNURL.eu site or registering as a SNURL user, you are agreeing to accept all of the terms and conditions of this agreement and the Privacy Policy. In the event of any inconsistency between the SNURL Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall prevail.

Membership

A subset of the SNURL.eu service offering is available to any anonymous user. Additional features are provided for a registered user, excepting those users who have been suspended or removed from the system by Return for any reason. You are prohibited from selling, trading, or otherwise transferring your SNURL.eu account to another party. If you do not qualify, you may not use SNURL.eu.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of Materials on SNURL.eu’s web site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title and under this license you may not:

• creating URLs for use in unsolicited advertising including but not limited to email and forum posts (i.e. do not use for SPAM purposes);
• post content or initiate communications which are unlawful, libelous, abusive, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable;
• use for any illegal purpose, including but not limited to conspiring to violate laws;
• linking/posting to any file or website containing illegal content;
• linking/posting to any content which is illegal in your jurisdiction;
• linking/posting to other sites that also offer URL shortening/redirection (because creating a “chain” of redirects is often an attempt to hide malicious use, and also wastes our bandwidth);
• any other use which is illegal in your jurisdiction;
• modify or copy Materials;
• forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any communication transmitted through SNURL.eu;
• use Materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
• stalk or harass anyone;
• attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software and/or the underlying (HTML) codes contained on SNURL.eu’s web site; remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from Materials; or transfer Materials to another person(s) or “mirror” Materials on any other server.

We reserve the right to remove any shortened URLs which we deem to have violated our Terms of Service.

We will take action on violation of our service and will take legal action by means of layers and/or a government agency.

Excessive usage

We ask that you request permission at our general contact email address before commencing any unusually high usage of our service (for example creating more than 100 new shortened URLs from a single IP address in an hour, or visiting more than 1,000 shortened URLs from a single IP address in an hour). We reserve the right to remove shortened URLs from our service and/or block the abuser from our service where such heavy usage is undertaken without permission.

SNURL.eu has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Internet web site and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by SNURL.eu of the site. Use of any such linked web site is at the user’s own risk.
